We purchased this 1971 built home in 1979 and lived in it for 5 years. Since 1984 it has been a successful rental property. The neighborhood had deteriorated over time and we were facing some significant expenses to get the property back in condition to rent again. We decided to sell the property. Before placing it on the market with a relator I wanted to see what kind of an offer I could get from one of the many companies from which I had received offers to buy the property on a cash basis in “as is condition”. I accepted the offer and it closed within ten days. The sale price was electronically transferred to my bank account the day after closing and I received the closing documents 3 days later. We were very satisfied with the process facilitated by a very competent 5yp acquisitions manager.
